CARING FOR YOUR WAND EXTENDS ITS LIFE AND LUSTER

HERE’S HOW:

- Avoid impact-wands are not indestructible. -

- Protect from environmental damage, such as prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. -

- Clean your wand of dust often-Dust creates a residue over time that can lead to scratching. -

- If the surface becomes scratched, marred, or rough: lightly sand 400-600 grit sandpaper until smooth, wipe clean of sanding dust, and finish with a light coat of walnut oil or any food safe oil of your choice. You might even go as far as to apply a protective coat of food safe wax. Our wands do not come with a wax finish unless specified in a custom order. -

- If your wand becomes stained with a particular substance, it would be best to research how to remove that specific substance from wood/furniture. -

Always wear PPE (personal protective equipment) such as gloves, dust mask/respirator, and safety glasses when working with wood, wood finishing products or around power tools.

Some wood species are more carcinogenic than others- such as ebony or ironwood- and the dust can cause severe respiratory problems.
